SynapseMD is an AI-powered medical documentation platform that provides real-time transcription, automated document generation, and patient management services for healthcare professionals. The Service is designed to assist with clinical documentation but does not replace clinical judgment or professional responsibility.
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must:
- Be a qualified healthcare professional or authorized representative of a healthcare organization
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your account information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
- Violate any healthcare privacy laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems to access the Service without authorization
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

SynapseMD is a documentation tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical decisions remain your sole responsibility. You must review, verify, and approve all AI-generated documents before using them for clinical purposes. We are not liable for any clinical decisions made based on information processed through our Service.
7. Subscription and Payment
Subscription terms:
- Fees are billed monthly or annually as selected
- All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) or New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
- Free trials are available for new users
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by SynapseMD and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect Service availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynapseMD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SynapseMD, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination of your account, we will retain your data for a period as required by law or as necessary for legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
